About WeVolution Off-Grid

Our family, our 74 acres just outside Tombstone, Arizona, and how we live off the grid.

We are a family on 74 acres just outside Tombstone, Arizona. We moved here in 2020. We are building our own off-grid home, and we do a lot of the work ourselves.

Why we moved

We moved to Arizona in 2020 and started over on this land. WeVolution blends revolution and evolution. It is the way we have changed our lives, and hopefully the lives around us, by living off the grid.

What we’re building

We build our own infrastructure here, including solar and concrete work. The home is going up one step at a time. The blog has the build and the daily chores.

Our days

We homeschool our kids. They are in the middle of the work here, on the build and with the animals. We are also active in our community.

How we help those around us

WeVolution also means changing lives around us through what we do. Helping is part of how we live, and we keep showing up.

Ways we help

  • Corinthea volunteers with the Tombstone food bank.
  • We always help the people around us with work parties and similar jobs.
  • We help feed our community with high quality farm products such as hatching eggs, turkeys, geese and ducks.
  • We teach our kids to be reliable, smart, industrious people, and they work alongside us.

Our animals

We raise Bresse chickens, pork and lamb. You will also find goats, rabbits and cats around the place. See our farm products for what we offer.

The dogs

The dogs came out of this life. We needed dogs that could protect livestock and work the land, so we started breeding our own. Our Great Pyrenees guard the livestock. Our American Akitas are protectors and family companions. Our Cardigan Welsh Corgis are herding companions, under the High Lonesome’s name. They live in our house and every litter is born here.
