About WeVolution Off-Grid

A family homestead on 74 acres just outside Tombstone, Arizona.

We are WeVolution Off-Grid, a family homestead on 74 acres just outside Tombstone, Arizona. We raise Bresse chickens, pork and lamb. We are building our own off-grid home as we go. We have been breeding dogs for six years.

What WeVolution Means

WeVolution blends revolution and evolution. It is how we changed our lives by moving off the grid, and we hope it changes a few lives around us too.

Building an Off-Grid Home

We are building the house ourselves. These photos are from the build. The blog has the build and the daily chores.

Our Dogs and Livestock

Our dogs came out of homestead life. We needed dogs that could guard livestock, work the land and live with us in a rugged desert, and we could not find the right ones. So we started breeding our own.

Our Great Pyrenees guard the chickens, pigs and lamb. Our American Akitas are protectors and family companions. Our Cardigan Welsh Corgis, under the High Lonesome’s name, are herding companions. The dogs live in our home and every litter is born here.

Meet the Family

Corinthea runs the kennel. Past families have shared their stories on our owner stories page, and you can see the puppies we have placed. To reach us, use the contact page.
