Akita Puppies for Sale in Texas
American Akitas and Great Pyrenees from our Arizona homestead, placed with Texas families.
Texas is one of the states our puppies go to. We raise American Akitas on 74 acres just outside Tombstone, Arizona, and every puppy is born in our house. We also raise Great Pyrenees and, under the High Lonesome’s name, Cardigan Welsh Corgis.
Both our Akitas and our Pyrenees are raised in our house and on our land. Akitas are protectors and family companions. The Pyrenees guard our chickens, pigs and lamb.

Bringing a puppy to Texas
Texas families fly, drive, or meet us partway. You can fly into Tucson and meet us at the airport, or use the Las Cruces, New Mexico meet-up if that suits your route. We will plan it with you when your puppy is ready.

Getting your puppy home
Pickup is at our homestead just outside Tombstone, Arizona, or at the Tucson Airport. We can also meet in Las Cruces, New Mexico, or work out a partway delivery. Families fly or drive, whichever suits them. We built My Animal Transport with a friend to help families find vetted transporters. Our puppies go home without registration unless you plan to show and breed.

How does an Akita puppy get to Texas?
Texas families fly into Tucson, drive to our homestead, or meet us partway. The Las Cruces, New Mexico meet-up is an option too.
What does a puppy come with?
Each puppy goes home with a vet exam, vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, vet records, a starter kit and a health guarantee. We also do early potty training and basic obedience, and we offer lifetime support. Our puppies go home without registration unless you plan to show and breed.
How does the deposit work?
We start with an application. Once it is approved, picks go in deposit order. The deposit is $500 and is non-refundable. The balance is between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on the puppy, and it is due before pickup.
