Getting ready for Grandpa, and a new shed

We are getting ready to move Grandpa out to the homestead. That is the big project right now.

First, we built a shed. It is a 10×20 shed, and it is up.

How it went up

It started as a bare wood frame. We set it against a lot of open sky and got to work.

Then came the roof beams. Someone had to climb up and set them, and it was not a quiet job.

After that the walls got wrapped, and the door opening got framed.

This is the view looking up from inside. Lots of rafters.

Now it has metal siding and green trim, and it looks like a shed. We are pretty pleased with it.

What is next

Grandpa is next. We will share more here as it comes together. Our about page has the rest of the story of how we got here, and our litter updates cover the puppies.

The dogs live in the middle of all this. See our American Akita puppies in Arizona, our Great Pyrenees puppies and our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies.
